In Arabic language "Umm Gamar" means moon's mother; this small island is easy to identify thanks its small lighthouse which delimits the extremity of a sprawling reef. The cave at 27 metres depth is the highlight of this dive site. Diving directly from the boat you can see madreporic formations spaced out by sand descending to the depth blue. It's easy to meet moray eels and blue-spotted stingray living in the rich sea-floor. At few metres from the anchorage you will see the firs tower covered by gorgonians and glass fishes. Going on to the surface you will meet the second tower with a wide cavity where are always presents red-mouth groupers, glassfish, lionfish, and some times sea scorpions camouflaged under the sand.
